Given the range of our study, the Dolphin Explorer visits several remote beaches. The team on board will determine a beach with the best shelling possibilities for any specific day.
Our work also takes us into the salt water river and bays of Marco Island, the estuary and mangrove forest surrounding that area.
The Dolphin Explorer is a 47-ft. powered catamaran designed for Gulf, bay, and estuary waters. It is perfect for getting in areas to observe and photograph marine life.
