Given the range of our study, the Dolphin Explorer visits several remote beaches. One is Keewaydin Island. Pictured above, it is the longest unbridged island on the west coast of Florida. Beach choice may vary according to conditions.
Our work also takes us into the salt water river and bays of Marco Island and the estuary and mangrove forest surrounding that area.
The Dolphin Explorer is a 47-ft. powered catamaran designed for Gulf, bay, and estuary waters. It is perfect for getting in areas to observe and photograph marine life.
